Elastifile Announces AWS Integrations and Demonstrates Data Fabric at AWS re:Invent 2017

Company joins AWS Partner Network as Registered Technology Partner

SANTA CLARA, Calif., November 13, 2017 – Elastifile, the enterprise hybrid cloud data management company, today announced its support for Amazon Web Services (AWS), and that it has been certified as a Registered Technology Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). Elastifile will also demonstrate its data fabric for the dynamic cross-cloud workload migration at AWS re:Invent, at booth 1040 from November 27-December 1 in Las Vegas.

Elastifile enables dynamic and cost-effective hybrid cloud workflows by integrating on-premises and on-cloud within a unified, high-performance data management platform. By leveraging the Elastifile Cloud File System and CloudConnect dynamic object tiering, enterprises can now manage both active and inactive data via cost-effective cloud infrastructure that scales according to the needs of their applications.  Elastifile’s unique capabilities enable mission-critical hybrid- and cross-cloud workflows across a wide variety of industries including life sciences, semiconductor design, managed service providers, and more.

With Elastifile’s support for AWS deployments, enterprise customers can finally deliver on their AWS hybrid cloud strategies including lift & shift and cloud bursting, without having to refactor applications or compromise their enterprise SLAs and data services. As an APN Registered Technology Partner, Elastifile’s software-defined data solution integrates with AWS to seamlessly and efficiently manage dynamic workloads with linear scale-out POSIX file services for all-flash active data workloads. Elastifile also integrates with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) object tiering with advanced data reduction for self-service file check-in and check-out between active and inactive data for the most cost-effective and agile data management across sites and clouds. At re:Invent 2017, Elastifile will showcase a set of demonstrations of this powerful new hybrid cloud capability for AWS.

“Damecon wanted to transition more of our back-end services and bursting to AWS, but we struggled with the cost efficiency and performance,” said Rob Christ, Director of Damecon Group.  “Elastifile allowed us to efficiently ‘lift and shift’ our data from on-premises to AWS through their cloud-based file system.”

“We are thrilled to announce our support and partnership with AWS” said Amir Aharoni, CEO and co-founder of Elastifile. “We are helping some of the most demanding enterprise customers lift and shift their most demanding workloads as part of a truly dynamic and cost-effective hybrid cloud. This allows organizations to more effectively leverage data across multiple locations and geographies, accelerating their core business processes.”
